State Rep. Donni Steele (R-Orion Township) today announced the addition of Denise Pallarito to her Capitol team.

Pallarito, a veteran of state government, has joined the 54th District office as Steele’s new legislative director. She will help Steele respond to the needs of people throughout the 54th House District, which includes Bloomfield Hills, Orion Township, a portion of Auburn Hills, and portions of Bloomfield Township and Oakland Township. She will also help Steele craft legislation and assist with work associated with the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Local Transportation, which Steele chairs.
“Denise is a trusted, respected professional with a proven track record in Lansing,” Steele said. “She understands the budget process, knows the key players, and shares a deep appreciation for our state and the roads our residents drive on every day.”
Pallarito brings more than a decade of experience in legislative operations, having served in the offices of Rep. Phil Green and former Majority Floor Leader Triston Cole, who also chaired the House Transportation Committee. Her knowledge of the state’s transportation needs will allow her to jump in and quickly contribute to Steele’s work on the transportation budget.
Pallarito expressed enthusiasm for her new role and the opportunity to support Rep. Steele’s priorities.
“Joining this team and helping advance the transportation budget is a great fit for my background,” Pallarito said. “I’m honored to serve the people of the 54th District — a community I’ve always loved, because every day can feel like a vacation.”
Steele emphasized her commitment to maintaining a high-performing office that serves the district with integrity and efficiency.
“I’ve been fortunate to work alongside excellent staff during my time in Lansing,” Steele said. “With Denise on board, we’re well-positioned to keep delivering results for our community.”
